Loretta Lux is a fine art photographer know for her surreal-looking photographs of young children
All the pictures look like they could be illustrations from children stories. The backgrounds have got colour, and even a scene which should look dull seems to be brightened up.
Lux uses a mixture of photography, painting and digital manipulation. She was influenced by painters Agnolo Bronzino, Diego Velázquez, Phillip Otto Runge and was inspired by Julia Margaret Cameron and Lewis Carroll.
