Julian Opie - how to do it

 First, open PhotoShop
Then go to Layer, then New and then Layer to create a new Layer
 Choose brush tool
Make sure the colour is black
And have the master diameter on 20px and the hardness on 100%
 Change to pen tool
 Go to Paths
 and create a new path
 like so
start the point where ever you like, in this case, my parting
click once then go around the parting/hair and click to make an anchor point
you'll end up with something like this
it is preferable if it joins up
right click on Path 1 and go to Stroke Path
You'll get this menu coming up. Make sure it is on Brush then click OK
you now have a black outline!
go to Create a New Path
and now you have another one
then go around other details such as the face, shoulders etc.
By clicking off the background, you will see this. Make sure you check that the picture is okay and there aren't any mistakes.
 some time later
we have a basic outline. Now for the glasses!
 going around the glasses
 on the other side
 and now the bridge
 time for the eyes!
The diameter was changed to 40. Just create a black cirlce
 change the colour to white
 then add the highlight
change to paint bucket tool and fill in the colours
 like so
 and voila!
Note: I couldn't get screenshots because it would only go on Microsoft Word so I had to use a compact camera and take the pictures of the computer screen. I edited the pictures on PhotoShop by changing the Levels and cropping them in.
