Album Covers

Some album covers I'm going to look at:

"Toys in the Attic" by Aerosmith
I like this album cover because I find it creative and looks like something you would find on the cover of a children's book. What I do like is that the picture actually refers to the title of the album. This is what I dislike about some album covers because there are some that don't refer to the title at all and I end up thinking, "What is that about?" This is something very simple but just as good.

 "London Calling" by The Clash
In a photographic photo of view, it's well taken. My first thought seeing this was someone on stage in a concert. It is another simple album cover with nothing fancy on it.

"Love and Theft" by Bob Dylan
I find it a bit boring and dreary. There isn't a lot of colour and it doesn't interest me.

 "Revolver" by The Beatles
This is quite clever, mixing in drawings and photos. You look around and there are always some bits that you didn't see before. It is very creative and must have been difficult to make since this album was released in 1966 and they didn't have the modern technology that we have nowadays.

"Sticky Fingers" by The Rolling Stones

I don't really like this album cover. I don't like the picture because I find it "undecent". I don't really see the point in it and why it is good for an album cover.
